Description
GroupGo is a web application designed to simplify the planning and management of group trips. With cluttered group chats and poor communication often causing delays and confusion, this platform ensures a structured and transparent planning process. The trip organizer (admin) can create a trip, set a destination, and invite members via email link. Once joined, members can view all trip details, including dates, accommodations, and planned activities.
To ensure smooth coordination, GroupGo features a task list where responsibilities such as booking flights or accommodations can be assigned to specific members. A shared checklist allows participants to indicate what they are bringing, preventing duplicate packing. Additionally, a countdown timer keeps everyone aware of the time remaining until departure. While all members can access trip details, only the admin has full control over editing and managing the trip. GroupGo makes trip planning efficient, collaborative, and stress-free.
